February 7 / 7:00-9:00 pm
Seeds are magical little things, pieces of dried out "wood" that, when watered, suddenly come alive to make round purple eggplants, sweet red tomatoes, even savory basil.
In this workshop, Nan covers everything a hoping-for-green-thumb needs to raise a summer full of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, including secrets Nan's developed from years of starting her own garden from seed and testing seeds for Organic Gardening Magazine.
Nan is offering these intimate, hands-on workshops throughout San Diego.
Space is very limited and pre-registration is required.
February 9 / 9:30-10:30 am
Attend this demonstration of starting summer vegetables and flowers from seed -- at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle, Washington.
